You would think that one could just add colors to the palette by not having anything selected and clicking the plus icon, and picking a color or assigning a hex value to it.įor an application that is all about experience design, the very first thing i tried to do in the app when i opened it, create a color palette, was hampered by unintuitive application design. As they are all greyed, i cannot tell they are greyed out as there is no non-greyed out plus icon for me to compare it to. The issue is that when i have an open, empty document, all of the plus icons are greyed out. It seems (unintuitively) that i cannot add a color to the Document Assets color palette unless i have an object selected that is currently using that color.
